Jadrian Wooten is an award-winning educator and is currently an Associate Teaching Professor at The Pennsylvania State University within the Department of Economics. His research interests are in managerial and labor-related issues in sports as well as teaching pedagogy. His sports-related research has focused on issues in Major League Soccer and in college sports. He is deeply involved in developing teaching resources for university and high school economics instructors. He is most well-known for his work on the integration of media into the economics curriculum and has published work in The Journal of Economics Education and The Journal of Economics Teaching. His website, Economics Media Library, contains over 550 clips that educators can use when teaching economics. Additionally, he has worked on show-specific resources related to The Big Bang Theory, Parks and Recreation, Modern Family, Superstore, and others. In 2021, Jadrian will release a book on teaching economics using Parks and Recreation.
